JTAC Chestrig

Chestrigs are nothing new, and there is a myriad of different styles out there. But some just wish for something more purpose-built for their specific job.

We set out to build a chestrig for all those whose weapon is the radio. No matter whether you are a JTAC, CCT, or ground force commander, this chestrig was designed with you in mind.

The minimal footprint makes it lightweight and comfortable to wear. Two rows of molle on each side allow you to mount your radio-specific pouch. The large velcro in the middle accepts all kinds of front panels as well as "the office", our admin pouch built to work with this chestrig.

On each side, you have a small zipper pouch to store markers, a compass, a power bank, or other small items. The velcro lining allows you to use organizers as well. The large middle pouch has an optional zipper insert to function as a pouch for maps or other flat items. It can also accommodate a double magazine insert or a holster. The rear hook surface is covered with loop velcro to protect your clothes from scratching up. It lets you put the rig over a plate carrier or attach your favorite dangler to it.

All compartments are connected so that you can route your comms cable or similar from one side to the other. Furthermore, under the side molle panels, openings go inside the side pockets to connect to your radio or EUD.
